A three-hour aptitude test called the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is used to select candidates for admission to management programs. The CMAT is given by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to applicants for MBA and PGDM programs.
Benefits of CMAT exam?
The quantity of MBA programs in India that accept the CMAT is one advantage. Because of its moderate difficulty, in-depth research is not necessary. Women and candidates from reserved categories also receive a discount on the application fee.

Cut off of CMAT 2025
The minimum percentile score needed to be admitted to MBA/PGDM programs is the CMAT cut-off of 2024. NTA releases the CMAT results. The cut-off point for each college’s MBA courses will be based on the scores received. CMAT cut-offs are typically published by colleges as percentiles. The relative measure of your test results compared to all test takers is the CMAT cut-off percentile. If your CMAT 2024 score is higher than 99% of exam participants, it is referred to as the CMAT 99 percentile.
Admission Procedure for 2025
Admission to the MBA program via the CMAT is determined by the minimum cut-off score established by the participating institutes. For applicants who meet the CMAT requirements, the B-Schools do group discussions and individual interviews instead of the NTA handling the admissions process. At the designated time, you must complete the entrance form for the school of your choice. Your selection for MBA/PGDM courses will be based on how well you perform in GD and PI.
